A Special Phone - an iPhone app for those people with special dialing and visual needs

Using "A Special Phone" is very easy. If you are visiually impaired, however, you may need some help in the intial set up of this application. Follow these simple instructions and you will be up and running in no time!

SET UP

Once you download the application, make sure to place the app button in a place that is easy to find without looking at the phone. We suggest putting the button somewhere within the four corners of the phone.

Tap the button to open the application and touch the small wrench icon to reveal the contacts sellings. When you open the application, you will feel a vibration to let you know that the application is, infact, opened.

Touch one of the 6 contact images once to open your phone book. There, you can choose any one person which you would like to add to your 6 "A Special Phone" contacts list.

Once the person's image or name (if no image is available) shows, you can touch and hold the image. This will bring up the individual contact settings. There you will be able to record the contact's name, and choose a specific number if that contact has more than one phone number in your phonebook. Then click SAVE.

USAGE

Tap the "A Special Phone" icon on your phone's home screen.

Shake your phone to correct number of times to call your contact of choice

Verify you are calling the correct person and TALK!

Set up to 6 quick dial, no vision needed contacts!
You can create up to 6 quick dial contacts. Simply open the application for the intial app setup, choose your most used contacts from your contact list, and you are all set! You can even choose which contact gets a certain number of shakes to dial!
